The longest infinity pool in the world defies gravity at 100 meters high

The infinity pool is a common concept in the United Arab Emirates, so it is often seen in the various skyscrapers. However, a pool can surpass itself and become a world record holder for its magnificent dimensions and height.

In Dubai, there is one that broke all records but aims to be dethroned by the construction of a new one in Saudi Arabia. It is the suspended infinity pool located in the One Za’abeel complex in Dubai and, so far, it is considered the longest in the world.

How The Largest Infinity Pool Known So Far Looks Like

The pool located at the One Za’abeel complex in Dubai holds this title, so those who choose this city for their vacation can enjoy it in one of the most luxurious buildings. Like everything that happens at this site, this pool has exorbitant dimensions reaching 120 meters in length and is elevated at 100 meters in height and is located on the terrace known as “The Link,” which connects the two towers of the luxury development.

This site offers a unique experience with all kinds of luxuries for those who choose to vacation here. This construction is part of an urban beach club that includes restaurants and rest areas with 360-degree panoramic views thanks to its large windows. To make the stay more pleasant, this place can regulate its temperature and has underwater speakers.

In addition to the magnificent construction of One Za’abeel in Dubai, there is another paradise to enjoy at the location. It is Aura Skypool, which is located on the 50th floor of the skyscraper The Palm and is literally suspended in the sky. This pool is listed in the Guinness World Records as the highest open-air pool in the world. This site was inaugurated in 2021 and is located in the most exclusive enclaves of the artificial island Palm Jumeirah.

Among its unique amenities, this magnificent place covers an area of 750 square meters and offers a 360-degree view of the entire artificial island of Palm Jumeirah and much of Dubai. Moreover, it has a maximum capacity of 930,000 liters of water. In addition to this site, there is another with similar features. One of them is the indoor pool of the Address Beach Resort, also located in the city, which broke the Guinness Record with its height of 293.9 meters.

To face the record of the aforementioned pools, in Saudi Arabia another one of larger dimensions began to be built. In the Treyam region in Neom, a project started that will feature a length of 457 meters and will be suspended at 67 meters. With these dimensions, they aim to surpass the mentioned One Za’abeel in Dubai. This project is carried out by the Vision 2030 group, led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who seeks to position the country as a luxury destination above the United Arab Emirates.

This space will not only feature this pool but will also establish itself with a “premier resort” for “adventure and endeavor” and will offer various activities such as sailing, diving, and other water sports. In addition to recreational facilities, visitors are promised an enriching experience with “health and wellness offerings enhanced by technology.”
