The most revolutionary project in Dubai: a mini city of 3 km that will rise 500 meters above the center

Dubai will be the epicenter of a new revolutionary project in architecture, aiming to add more luxury buildings that enhance the territory. In Dubai, the architecture firm ZNera Space is planning to build a mini-city 550 meters above the ground that would surround the mythical Burj Khalifa.

This ambitious construction plan will be called Downtown Circle and features an eccentric ring-shaped building that will have five levels. In addition to luxurious residences, this place will also have lush vegetation to preserve sustainability and contribute to the carbon footprint.

The luxurious plan of ZNera Space was announced in 2022 and still does not have a completion date, although it is said to be in 2040. This space was conceived during the pandemic and has a particular structure that will form a real closed community with a diameter of three kilometers. Downtown Circle would be supported by five columns that would change the views of the city.

In addition, it will have five floors that will be subdivided into office sectors, research centers, residences such as lofts, townhouses with terraces and public spaces with commercial and cultural proposals. Its creators spoke about it and confirmed the main idea of their project. They said they wanted to reach the basic concepts of how closed communities were established as a very horizontal built environment.

In addition to having luxury housing, office space, and restaurants, Downtown Circle will feature a true green belt that will connect the two rings and will be called Skypark. This park will unify all floors and will have a natural ecosystem composed of lakes, waterfalls, and vegetation. Following the sustainability line, this space will include a rainwater collection system, solar energy, a carbon storage mechanism, and air pollutant filters as part of the urban ecosystem.

Besides this innovative sustainable system, the mini city of Dubai will also feature a revolutionary transportation system. Residents will be able to travel in a tram with capsules for 20 people and with a 360° view of Dubai. This mode of mobility will traverse the outer perimeter ring at 100 kilometers per hour. The planners of this plan assured that before starting with the construction project, they took care to examine aspects such as waste elimination, food production, traffic problems, and pollution. They gathered all these things and came up with the concept.
