Sharjah is one of the cities in the United Arab Emirates, where real estate business is growing strongly in recent months. In this site of the United Arab Emirates, real estate developers are taking advantage of the relocation of Dubai citizens, who are moving to this ancient enclave due to high property values.

The difference between the supply in Sharjah and that of other cities in the United Arab Emirates is not in the price, but in the type of amenities offered, which is considerably different from those in the city of skyscrapers. The buildings are older, with few facilities, a factor that has caused a series of discontents and changes within the city itself, where investors began developing new projects.

Sharjah is the third largest emirate in the UAE and considered its “cultural heart.” This space differs from the other more popular cities of the Emirates and was recognized by UNESCO as a Creative City of Craft and Folk Art in 2019. The deeply rooted customs of this rich country are maintained thanks to several craft programs, heritage festivals, and artistic projects.

So much so that in Sharjah, the annual Sharjah Heritage Days festival takes place, bringing together local artisans to showcase traditional techniques of weaving, pottery, and calligraphy, bridging the past and the present. Among the most prominent spaces in this area is Mleiha, located in the central region, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which houses an extraordinary variety of fossils dating back almost 90 million years and offers a glimpse into the natural history of the Arabian Peninsula.
