The luxury of the Maldives can also be found in Dubai with a new enclave that will become the most desired paradise for tourists and residents. This is Zuha Island in Dubai, an ultra-luxury resort to be built on The World, the forgotten islands of the emirate.
This will be one of the sites that will redefine tourism in the country, attracting investors and millionaires who wish to enjoy the wealth of the territory as well as the most eccentric and exclusive spaces. Zuha Island will feature more than 30 residential villas, with a large garden and exclusive beach that can be purchased for around 63 million dirhams.
A piece of the Maldives in Dubai
The paradise of the Maldives will also be possible in Dubai, and residents will be able to enjoy this incredible project that aims to enhance the famous “World Islands”, whose plots were abandoned when its construction was launched. Beyond the aforementioned villas, this site will also feature a boutique hotel for tourists who choose to just relax here without the need to invest in their properties.
Summer 2025 is the chosen season for the launch of this enclave, which will include the Zuha by Zaya Resort among its options. This will have around 70 villas and will also feature a unique aspect: two-level tree houses that will be dispersed in a special area of the island. This site has its version in Abu Dhabi with the same brand.
A true wellness paradise in Dubai
In addition to residences with up to six bedrooms, Zuha Island will have all the spaces of the world’s highest wellness centers. The mentioned complex will have a spa and healing center, and will include access to a central pool shared by all. Gastronomic experiences are part of the attractions of this place, which will feature a ceviche bar and an elegant beach club.
This is one of many projects of this style that will be presented on the famous “World Islands.” After the abandonment of some of its plots and the lack of perseverance in the projects, this site now has an Anantara hotel that opened at the end of 2021. The first hotel in The Heart of Europe, Côte d’Azur Monaco resort, is also in the process of inauguration.
The World Islands in Dubai, an enclave frozen in time
The realization of these mentioned projects on The World Islands promises to revive an archipelago that has 300 artificial islands in Dubai, which was inaugurated in 2003 and was abandoned at times when business in the city was not as booming as it is now. As is well known, each of these islands is designed to represent different countries of the world and be a true miniature replica, but its momentum was halted in 2008 when all the territory went through a crisis that was difficult to overcome.
The development company Nakheel Projects, based in Dubai, was the one that invested a significant sum of money to create these islands that had to be halted. This was paralyzed until 2021 with the already mentioned Anantara World Islands Resort, which was built in the section representing Latin America of that archipelago. After this, the Heart of Europe Project emerged, which is the one that will give rise to complexes like Zuha and will continue boosting Dubai as a luxury tourist destination.
