Dubai is the capital of skyscrapers, and although New York once held this title, the city in the United Arab Emirates has surpassed it with a skyline that exceeded all expectations. To maintain this reputation, Dubai has announced the arrival of a new hotel that, as expected, will surpass all known heights.
This is the Ciel Tower project, a luxury hotel that will rise to a height of 400 meters, with plans and ideas first outlined in 2018. The site will feature 82 floors, and while there are taller buildings in Dubai, this construction is considered the tallest dedicated solely to hospitality in the city.
What Ciel Tower, Dubai’s new project, will be like
Ciel Tower is one of Dubai’s newest promises, where skyscrapers are commonplace. This hotel will reach 400 meters in height and will have a thousand rooms spread across 82 floors. In this space, windows will be the true protagonists, as they will be entirely made of glass, allowing the view to merge with the sky.
The amenities offered by Ciel Tower will be typical of hotels of this style, featuring three restaurants, a spa, a garden, and an outdoor space on the 76th floor. Additionally, it will have an infinity pool offering a panoramic view of the city, considered one of the highest in Dubai.
Dubai redefines luxury with a building that pushes all boundaries
The development company behind this type of construction is The First Group, which had initially promised the launch of this site in 2023, though it was postponed to 2025. In addition to offering luxury and all kinds of amenities, this site is also built under sustainable development concepts. The project’s developers confirmed that it will use 25% less energy for cooling compared to similar buildings.
One of the innovations of this building will be an interior atrium featuring vertical gardens and natural ventilation, allowing residents to enjoy nature at an unusual height. “This building is not just about architecture. It’s about the fusion of architecture and engineering,” the developers confirmed.
Goodbye to a record: the Dubai hotel that will be surpassed by Ciel Tower
Ciel Tower has arrived to break all records and surpass its twin brother, the Gevora Hotel. Currently considered the tallest hotel in the world at 356 meters, it is located on Sheikh Zayed Road. This site was inaugurated in 2018, and since then, no other has surpassed its grandeur. One of its unique features is its 75 golden-colored floors, along with four restaurants, a luxury spa, and a gym.
Gevora’s unique characteristics made it a global attraction in 2018 upon its inauguration. Gold is an integral part of its structure, and as the media described it, it is a true “golden giant.” Its entrance features revolving doors covered in solid gold. Additionally, it has eight elevators that reach the top in just 38 seconds. The pool is also a major highlight of this site, with one located on the rooftop, where guests can enjoy spectacular views of the city and its towering skyscrapers from the bar.
