Dubai’s Attraction: A Monument with 15,000 Meters of Gold for the Perfect Photo

Fantasy is possible in Dubai where buildings manage to capture the world’s attention. In Dubai, there’s no room for imagination, and the most iconic buildings become an attraction in themselves, attracting the world’s gaze.

One of the newest attractions is the Dubai Frame, a site that opened to the public in 2018 where you can get the best photo of the entire city. Everyone who visits this place discovers in it an impressive construction surrounded by the green areas of Zabeel Park and on the outskirts of Downtown Dubai.

Though it may seem like something out of a science fiction film, Dubai’s Frame building boasts impressive architecture and its shape resembles a giant picture frame. It can be accessed by a glass elevator offering the best panoramic views of the city.

Its construction has been expensive, like most of the ones that rise in this city. This monument stands 150 meters tall and is 93 meters wide. For its construction, 9,900 m3 of reinforced concrete, 2,000 tons of steel, and 2,900 m2 of laminated glass were used. But the most striking feature of all is that 15,000 m of this construction is made up of a gold laminate that adds magic to this impressive attraction.

A Dreamy Frame Not Fit for the Sensitive in Dubai

In addition to admiring its imposing construction, the Dubai Frame offers a viewpoint not suitable for the faint of heart. It is a 360-degree space, with areas of glass floor, which can cause dizziness even to the least impressionable. To reach this platform, it is necessary to use an elevator that can ascend 48 floors in just 75 seconds. Once there, you can enjoy the breathtaking views of both the urban area and the old part and the desert.

Visiting the Frame building is also a guarantee of getting to know part of Dubai’s history. In addition to appreciating the impressive views, you can take a cultural tour of this site with an exhibition that reflects the history of Dubai, with multimedia technology, 3D projections and special effects. You can also travel to the past with visits to the tunnel with special effects that tries to place you in the Dubai of the future, a near future in fifty years.
