Trump arrives in Abu Dhabi with a tower that redefines luxury and breaks all the molds

The Trump empire could reach Abu Dhabi thanks to Damac Properties. The Trump Tower could be built in Abu Dhabi while the family business of the elected North American president establishes itself with several projects in the Persian Gulf. Together with Damac, the businessman has already managed to establish the Trump International Golf Club Dubai and Trump-branded villas in Damac Hills in the neighboring city.

Along with Dar Global, the iconic tower from New York is also expected to arrive in Dubai with an investment of 2.000 million AED (544 million dollars) with great views of the Burj Khalifa. The expansion will also continue in Jeddah with the construction of a hotel complex worth 532 million dollars, as well as a Trump Golf community in Riyadh.

A promise that has no date in Abu Dhabi.

The promise of a mega tower by Trump in Abu Dhabi generated high expectations after Reuters confirmed the project. Nonetheless, the Organization did not comment on the matter, and its creation generated significant uncertainty and expectations. Dar Global stated that projects will continue in Oman, Dubai, Jeddah, and Riyadh, without mentioning Abu Dhabi. “Regarding other projects, we will announce more news as we expand our portfolio,” they said.

Nevertheless, Trump projects are moving forward in the mentioned locations and require constant interest from businesspeople and investors. The development companies are the ones that pay the Organization to use its name, which implies strong expansion for the companies. These new projects underscore the continued demand for high-end branded real estate in the Gulf and a special interest in this American brand.

As part of the company’s expansion, the Trump Organization confirmed the construction of its iconic tower in Dubai in conjunction with Damac Properties. This transaction took place in July 2024 and is expected to be completed this year. This project includes a luxury hotel and branded residences that will be built by Dar Global, although its location and the cost of the agreement are still unknown.

Trump’s company reached an agreement with Damac in 2015, in which it promised to establish developments on the site. During his first presidency, the company established close ties in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. However, not everything was fruitful during that time, and in 2011, the construction of the Trump brand hotel and tower on the artificial island of The Palm Jumeirah, in partnership with Nakheel Developments, was canceled.

The alliance that was not between Trump and the United Arab Emirates.
