A true oasis in the heart of Dubai is being built by the architecture firm Foster + Partners, promising to redefine the urban landscape. In Dubai, a city of skyscrapers, architectural innovations are a daily occurrence, and monumental projects continue to grow over time.
However, among the wide variety of residential buildings, Foster + Partners’ project stands out as one of the most emblematic within the Marasi Marina district in the Business Bay area of the city. It is the Regent Residences Dubai, a true vertical park in the area that boasts an incredible physique surpassing the most emblematic in the region.

Regent Residences Dubai will be located in Marasi Marina, in the Business Bay area of Dubai. This project will feature the construction of two towers that will have a unique façade where nature will be the main protagonist. This building will reach 180 meters and will house 60 apartments, one on each floor. Each of them will have panoramic views of the region’s iconic landmarks such as the magical Burj Khalifa.
What will define these two towers is that each apartment will have its own private pool, which will wrap around the entire building, giving it the appearance of a waterfall. The authorities bringing these magnificent towers to life assured that this design decision will provide a distinctive feature to Business Bay. “Our design takes advantage of connections with nature, with generous shaded terraces and optimized views of the coastline,” said the company.

Regent Residences Dubai will not only have those natural details that make it unique but will also feature a suspended pool that connects part of the two towers. These skyscrapers will have on their rooftop a series of green spaces, water features, restaurants, a gym, commercial space, and a series of indoor and outdoor pools for residents.
These new spaces within Dubai will define the urban landscape, bringing ecological concepts and architecture that add green spaces despite the tall designs. It is important to mention that the two towers that make up Regent Residences Dubai will join the residential skyscrapers Vela and Vela Viento designed by Foster + Partners, another of the great promises that will be built along the Dubai waterfront.

In addition to the aforementioned development, the English company Foster + Partners along with Omniyat launched at the beginning of 2024 the plans for the construction of Vela and Vela Viento in the Marasi Bay development in Dubai. Both will feature the interior design of the Parisian duo Gilles and Boissier, which will bring the necessary luxury to these types of spaces. Vela Viento, the larger of the two buildings, will have two separate structural towers that will reach 180 meters in height and 92 residences.
The mentioned site will include three duplex apartments with ‘hanging’ dining rooms that will serve as a bridge between the buildings. Vela, on the other hand, is the smaller of this project and will have a height of 150 meters. It will contain 38 apartments and will adhere to the same concept as Regent Residences Dubai because it will have pools that wrap around the edges of the terraces. It also includes a gym, spa, and a cinema, a luxurious experience for residents who choose this beautiful complex.
