The 3 most expensive buildings in the United Arab Emirates where the budget was no object

The United Arab Emirates continues to be at the forefront of technology and architecture, and many of its buildings are among the most expensive in the world. In the United Arab Emirates, skyscrapers are part of its architectural beauty, and financing was the least problematic for the companies that decided to invest in these sites.

Within the variety of architectural beauties that exist in this vast territory, there are three that stood out in the world where entrepreneurs spared no expense or money. They applied the best of technology to build them and placed the territory in the top spot on the planet in this aspect.

Louvre Abu Dhabi, the most expensive building in the United Arab Emirates

It is one of the youngest and one of the most expensive, it is the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Its value is ludicrous and it is also the most striking in the territory. This architectural paradise was designed by Jean Nouvel and features more than 24,000 square meters covered by a tessellated roof that surpassed the figure of 500 million euros at the time of its construction.

No expense was spared in its construction, and the Abu Dhabi government paid another 475 million to use the name “Louvre” for 30 years, to which must be added a fee of 682 million in exchange for art loans, special exhibitions, and advisory services, so the investment in this space involved a significant sum of money that did not cause any problems for any of its investors.

Burj Khalifa, the treasure of United Arab Emirates

One of the emblem buildings of Dubai and the most globally recognized is the Burj Khalifa, where the government allocated more than the planned budget to build it and take it to the summit of the world. This enclave, a true paradise in the heights, stands 828 meters above sea level.

It is a true jewel within the United Arab Emirates and, since its launch in 2010, holds the record for the tallest building in the world. Designed by a team led by Adrian Smith of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, its unusual multi-tiered profile comes from the Hymenocallis or spider lily, a regional desert flower. Its interior features luxury apartments, observation decks, and superior luxury services. Its investment exceeded 1,370 million euros, which did not cause any inconvenience due to its growing fame and constant renovation.

The Emirates Palace, another of the most expensive in the United Arab Emirates

El Emirates Palace, otro de los más costosos de Emiratos Árabes

The Emirates Palace building is also one of the most recognized in the world, and its architecture combines Islamic and modern elements. The construction cost reached 3 billion euros, making it the sixth most expensive hotel in the world. It has 280 residences, 92 suites, and 22 residential suites, and a facade so impressive that everyone is dazzled each time they enter. Most of the suites are decorated in gold and marble. The main building has a large dome also decorated in gold. Among its main floors are the now-famous six presidential suites reserved for visits from celebrities, billionaires, and monarchs.

Among its magnificent amenities are two spas, 40 meeting rooms, a private beach with a marina, 2 helipads, a ballroom for 2,500 people, luxury shops and restaurants. Within this list of buildings, it is important to mention the Dubai Frame, which cost more than 70 million euros. In this incredible building, one can see from there the Sheikh Zayed Road, the longest road in the United Arab Emirates, flanked by skyscrapers like the Burj Khalifa itself. On the other side, you can see sites that represent the history of the emirate, like Deira.
