Al Fahidi, Abu Hail, Al Karama, and Al Quoz Creative Zone are the communities that will be car-free starting with the Super Block plan announced by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai<\/a>, who confirmed this project that aligns with the Dubai Urban Master Plan 2040<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this way, these regions will transform into pedestrian zones where residents can engage more with the outdoors, green spaces, and sports, without having to endure long waits in traffic<\/strong>. This idea from the Sheikh is one of many plans being added to the emirate’s most significant project, which will also improve the city\u2019s infrastructure beyond the areas mentioned above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Improving the quality of life for residents is also an important aspect for the city\u2019s authorities. In addition to the Super Block, there is another awaited project known as the “highest wellness center” in the world. The Th\u00e9rme Dubai will be located in Zabeel Park and its structure promises to capture the attention of the most skeptical<\/strong>. It is a skyscraper in the shape of a waterfall that will feature an interactive park and the largest indoor botanical garden in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This incredible park will accommodate over 1.7 million visitors per year<\/strong>, being one of the largest spaces dedicated to wellness in the world. This magnificent building will overshadow other iconic skyscrapers in Dubai and will feature cascading pools with thermal and mineral waters, as well as spaces dedicated to cultural and social events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In alignment with these objectives for the emirate, one of the most eagerly awaited proposals for the city is Dubai Walk. This involves the construction of a network of 6,500 kilometers of walkways that will cover 160 areas<\/strong> of the city, forever changing mobility and reducing carbon emissions as expected with the Super Block. At the same time, this plan will offer a different way to experience Dubai<\/a> for tourists and visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dubai Walk will comprise 3,300 km of paths, the remodeling of 2,300 trails for 2040 and 900 km of walkways that will be constructed by 2024<\/strong>, as indicated in the aforementioned Master Plan.
