Now, <strong>Abu Dhabi continues this trend through one of its most iconic sustainable projects<\/strong>: Masdar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This platform achieved two new subsidiaries in Madrid and <strong>established the so-called Masdar Espa\u00f1a Renewables and Masdar Espa\u00f1a Anri, under the umbrella of Masdar Espa\u00f1a Holding<\/strong>, which are set up in the Iberian territory with the intent of developing projects with this type of energy. Among the most notable partnerships is the acquisition of Saeta Yield for 1.2 billion euros. The shareholder Taqa sought to acquire shares in Naturgy through a deal that ultimately failed. Moreover, <strong>Mubadala, Abu Dhabi&#8217;s sovereign wealth fund<\/strong>, holds an active stake in Cepsa and Enag\u00e1s, highlighting the UAE&#8217;s presence in the Spanish energy sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These agreements indicate Masdar&#8217;s aim to reach a significant target that the government has set for 2030: achieving 100,000 MW of green energy worldwide.
