Three new businesses that are turning Abu Dhabi into the world’s most luxurious destination

Abu Dhabi is in full swing and the construction of enormous skyscrapers and real estate projects does not rest. One of the major news for 2024 for Abu Dhabi was the announcement of the Infrastructure and Projects Center (ADPIC), which was confirmed at the beginning of the year and assures that the Executive Council approved the launch of 144 future projects in the capital.

Abu Dhabi will also define itself as “the next Dubai” where the hotel industry plays a key role in the economy, among others. For these investments, a total budget of around 66 billion AED (170 billion euros) was allocated, which also included projections in the housing and quality of life, education and human capital, and natural resources sectors.

Luxury is also part of this enormous emirate that continues to advance the plans of the government which aims to position Abu Dhabi as one of the best places to invest and develop a business. The tourism industry is key to this growth, supported by the construction of a series of exclusive projects that began this year and will continue in the years to come. One of them is the Mondrian Abu Dhabi, a hotel with 221 rooms and 80 serviced apartments, six restaurants, bars, and a lagoon with a sea view.

Nobu Hotel Abu Dhabi, which will open its doors in 2027, is also one of the great promises of Abu Dhabi with possibilities to expand the tourism offer. This site will be located on Saadiyat Island with three restaurants and more amenities. Similarly, the brand of hotels and beach clubs Nammos will join the portfolio of luxury sites in Abu Dhabi by 2025.

Abu Dhabi as a wellness center.

The wellness centers are also a suitable investment option to enhance Abu Dhabi and position it among the busiest emirates. Among the new projects is Kintsugi Space, an exclusive clinic-spa for women on Al Reem Island. This is a space where quantum physics is the focus, and guests can purchase a membership or book a six-day retreat where they receive targeted care. This space is one of the places where major entrepreneurs are directing their attention, as part of the tourism industry.

Kintsugi Space bets on Japanese aesthetics while also drawing inspiration from Italy. This spa is ideal for enjoying a vacation but also stands as one of the emirate’s most ambitious projects. The magic is granted to food and design, along with a holistic approach that combines ancestral knowledge and techniques. One of the investment options in this enclave lays the groundwork for the future.
