Jubail Mangrove Park is located on the northern coast of the city, near Reem Island, and is protected by the Environment Agency of Abu Dhabi (EAD). This site was inaugurated before the pandemic and is one of the most attractive educational points of interest in the city, although it is also little known to some visitors.

This vast area features 19 kilometers of mangrove forests divided into two sections: Mangrove National Park and Jubail Mangrove. It is in the latter where various wildlife species reside, including fish and birds, which can be easily observed from the extensive boardwalks that run through the mangroves. Here, various activities can be carried out such as kayaking, birdwatching, and guided tours.

In addition to the various attractions of Jubail Mangrove Park, the biodiversity that thrives there is also of special interest due to the climatic conditions and water temperatures. As is well known, mangroves are a set of plants that grow underwater and play an important role in nature by protecting against tides, purifying water, and removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

What is mysterious about this oasis is that the forest forms within it, growing in the shallow depths of the Arabian Sea, which has a high salt content and is quite warm during the summer. However, the miracles of nature have allowed the mangroves to develop properly, being essential for the growth of biodiversity by absorbing and storing carbon dioxide. This site is also the focus of various environmental policies from the government and private sectors, promoting the planting of these species and leading to an expansion of mangrove areas in recent years.
